Amongst several decisions made by new hires, whether to stay or leave is one that pops up within the first few months of being hired. Often organizations breathe a sigh of relief when employees are formally hired - as if the work is now over. That is not the case. In as much as the formal recruitment process is complete, the onboarding process has just begun. New hires, in literal sense are the future of an organization, and onboarding is the biggest investment into that future. An effective employee on-boarding process ensures that new hires are welcomed and prepared for their new roles.
